HI!!! i’m so excited to get to know you.

LET’S BE FRIENDS.

My name is Keela, and I’m passionate about leading women deeper in truth, healing, and freedom in body, soul, and spirit, and helping them live abundantly wholistically. Because that’s what Jesus lived for, died for, and rose again for — for us to experience and bring heaven on earth right here, right now!

A little about me:

  • I love to read and learn, and you can pretty much always find me hyper-fixated on 1-3 topics that I’m doing a ton of research on.

  • I love to be outside — find me in the sunshine, barefoot in the grass, hiking, camping, swimming, love it.

  • I have a cat named Felipe who I love with my whole entire heart, a cat named Ezra who I try to believe loves me deep, deep down, and a dog named Dodger who loves everyone.

  • I’ve also been through the ringer and found the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to be closer than close and faithful through it all and so, so good. You can read a little bit about my story here.

Ummm…so, yeah, like…what’s this whole website about then?

Well, scroll along, chickadee, and you’ll find out!

hi, it’s me. i’m the problem, it’s me.

Consider me your big sister (or friend) in this Christian life thing.

I absolutely love Jesus and the Bible and missions and telling people all about Jesus and the Bible and missions…as I’m sure you’ve figured out by now. But, more than that, I think that the way Jesus helped people was not just that He told them the truth, healed them, and set them free, but He walked with them and taught them the ways of truth, healing, and freedom. That’s what I love to do — write about life with Jesus, teach about life with Jesus, and travel to places so others can do life with Jesus. And, yes, I think life with Jesus involves learning, believing, and applying the truth more and more each day, walking in health and stewardship of our bodies little by little, and being set free from lies we’ve believed and demonic oppression in our lives.

  • I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from The King’s University.

  • I’m a certified aromatherapist (level one) from The School of Aromatic Studies, which basically means I like to help people with various ailments using essential oils.

  • I have training in botanical/herbal remedies.

  • I have experienced myself and have extensive training in [gentle] freedom ministry from Bethel’s Sozo program, as well as in prophetic ministry.

  • Working on a holistic nutritionist certification from AFPA

  • I’ve participated in and led mission trips to 11 different countries and a handful of cities in the United States.

WHOLEHEARTEDLY MESSY

WHOLEHEARTEDLY MESSY

Here’s the gist.

At Wholeheartedly Messy, you can expect to see:

  • Practical guides about how to study the Word, spend time with Jesus, tell people about God, hear the Holy Spirit, and walk with the Father in every avenue of life, from physical health to mental health to finances to relationships to missions. I talk about it all.

  • Holistic remedies to support the body and emotional health using essential oils, herbs, nutrition, exercise, and other natural means. And, no, we don’t do any of that New Age baloney. In fact, I teach about how to look out for that stuff and avoid it and, instead, invite the Holy Spirit in for discernment, healing, comfort, and counsel.

  • How you — yes, you! — can navigate the spiritual realm and take authority in Jesus’ name over the hidden forces that are trying to steal, kill, and destroy you, your life, and your calling. Because Jesus says He has “given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” (Luke 10:19). So, together, let’s believe that truth and live that truth.

  • How we can tie our spiritual walk with the Lord, our physical health, our mental/soul health, and everything in between, together for the glory of God. Because our bodies, our souls, and our spirits are all interconnected, and as Christians, we should be taking care of all of them equally.

  • Resources, ecourses, ebooks, and products that encapsulate all of this.

  • Scientific studies about natural remedies and how we can practically use God’s creation to help us live wholistically abundantly.

  • My experiences and what I’m learning about all of this.

  • Basically, all of the advice I can think of when it comes to being FULLY + WHOLLY living.

And just so you know, I try to keep everything:

  • Bible based

  • Theologically informed

  • Spirit led

  • Individual focused

  • Missionally driven

  • Wholeheartedly messily expressed (say that three times fast, I dare you haha!)

So. What do ya think? Wanna join me?
